Red Bali

Red Bali comes from mature trees grown in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The red vein reflects longer leaf maturation, which shifts the alkaloid profile toward mitragynine and the indole alkaloids associated with calmer, fuller-bodied character.

Leaves are harvested by hand, then washed, dried indoors away from direct sun, and ground to a consistent fine powder. We buy the whole lot at harvest from a single farm, which keeps the batch homogeneous rather than blended from multiple sources.

Red Bali is a common evening choice and a reliable introduction to the red side of the vein spectrum.
