Shipping & delivery

How orders move from our fulfilment to your door, and what to expect along the way.

Where do you ship?

We ship to every US state where kratom is legal under state law. We don’t ship internationally, and we don’t ship to states where kratom is banned at the state level.

How long does shipping take?

Orders placed before 2pm ET typically ship the same business day; everything else ships the next business day. Standard delivery is 3–5 business days. Express options are available at checkout.

Is shipping free?

Standard shipping is free on orders over $75. Below that, standard shipping is a flat rate calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

Do you ship to states where kratom is restricted?

We follow state law. Where kratom is legal statewide but locally restricted — specific counties or cities — we ship to the state. Local rules at the county or city level can vary, so a quick check of your municipality before ordering is a good idea. Where kratom is banned at the state level, we don’t ship.

Is the package discreet?

Yes. Outer packaging carries no product imagery and no mention of kratom — just a plain shipping label. Inner packaging is branded for unboxing, but nothing about the outer parcel signals what’s inside.

Product care & use

Storage, shelf life, format differences, and how to read what’s on the label.

How should I store kratom?

Cool, dry, dark, sealed. A pantry or cupboard away from sunlight is fine. The enemies are heat, humidity, and light — they degrade the alkaloid profile over time. Original packaging works; if you’ve decanted, an opaque airtight container is better than a clear jar.

How long does kratom stay fresh?

Powder stays at full quality for about twelve months when stored well; extracts hold longer because the concentrated form is more stable. Every batch ships with a manufactured-on date. You can use it past that — it slowly loses character rather than going off in a food-safety sense.

What’s the difference between powder, capsules, and extracts?

Powder is dried leaf, ground. Capsules are the same powder pre-portioned in gel or vegetable shells. Extracts are concentrated — much less product for a similar character, prepared differently. Our Strain Guide and Usage pages cover which format suits which routine.

Is your product safe to consume?

Every batch we sell carries a Certificate of Analysis confirming it’s tested for heavy metals, microbial contaminants, salmonella, and alkaloid content. Beyond that, kratom is a botanical and individual response varies. Start with the lower end of any serving range if you’re new to a strain.

Quality & testing

What we test for, what the standards mean, and how to verify any batch you receive.

What’s a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?

A CoA is the third-party lab report for a specific batch. It documents what’s in the product — alkaloid content, heavy metal levels, microbial counts — and confirms what isn’t — salmonella, pathogenic bacteria. Reputable kratom carries one; reputable vendors publish it.

What does kratom.com test for?

Every batch: heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, cadmium), microbial contaminants (yeast, mould, coliforms), salmonella, and mitragynine plus 7-hydroxymitragynine alkaloid content. The full panel for each product is on its CoA.

What does "AKA GMP-equivalent" mean?

The American Kratom Association runs a Good Manufacturing Practices programme that audits kratom producers against a defined standard. "AKA GMP-equivalent" means we operate to that same standard — same documentation, same controls, same testing requirements — without holding formal AKA membership. Some brands we carry are AKA-qualified members directly; that’s noted on each brand’s page.

How do I look up the CoA for my batch?

Every batch has a number printed on the package. Enter it on the CoA Library page and the lab report for that exact batch will come back. If you can’t find your batch, contact us and we’ll send it directly.

Does every brand you sell meet the same standards?

The floor is the same: every product in our shop has a CoA on file, regardless of brand. Above that, brands differ — some operate from single-farm sources, some are AKA-qualified members, some hold additional certifications. Each brand’s page lists what it specifically meets.

Marketplace & brands

Why we carry multiple brands, how we vet them, and what that means for your order.

Why does kratom.com sell other brands?

A single house line can’t cover every preparation and every preference at the quality bar we want to set. Carrying a curated set of brands we trust gives shoppers more options without diluting the standard — every brand on the site passes our vetting before it lists.

How do you choose which brands to carry?

Three things we look for: published CoAs on every batch (not just on request), GMP-equivalent or better manufacturing, and a track record long enough to evaluate. Brands that meet those criteria and share our view on quality are invited to list their products.

Do all brands ship in the same package?

Yes. All orders ship from our fulfilment in one package with one tracking number, including third-party brand items. You don’t deal with separate shippers or separate returns.

Do you sell 7-OH or synthetic kratom?

No. kratom.com carries plant-derived leaf and full-spectrum extracts only. Isolated 7-hydroxymitragynine and synthetic alkaloid products are a separate category.
